Terms and conditions

The agreement for using Clipora.

Effective October 24, 2026. If this version and the Spanish version differ, this English version controls.

Who offers the service

Clipora is offered by DESKTOP PERFORMANCE LLC, a limited liability company of the United States, EIN 39-3443512, at 1209 Mountain Rd Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States. In these terms, “we” means that company.

What Clipora is

Clipora is an app for iPhone and Android. You write an idea and the app prepares a drawn explainer video, with a script and a voice, in Spanish or in English. You can choose a man’s or a woman’s voice, and a length under 30 seconds or over 30 seconds.

The video is generated on our servers. You can leave the app while it is being made. When it finishes, you watch it in the app, save it to your camera roll, or share it with your phone’s own tools. Clipora does not post to your social accounts.

The result is a drawn explanation built from your idea. It may simplify, shorten, or get something wrong. It is not professional, medical, legal, or financial advice, and we do not promise that it is accurate or that it will reach any particular audience.

The account

The first time you open the app, it creates an account on that phone. No email and no password are required. The account is identified by a code. That code is the key to your videos and your credits: anyone who has it can enter the account. Keep it if you want to recover the account on another phone. If you lose it, we may not be able to find the account, because we do not ask for your name.

You can stop using one code on a phone and sign in with another. Videos on the previous account stay tied to its code.

Credits and payments

Creating a video spends credits. Opening an account does not grant credits. On the web, the first video under 30 seconds is created when you start the Lite plan: 3 days at €0, then €9.99 per month. Saving a card grants 20,000 credits, which are spent on that video. When the monthly charge is collected, 100,000 credits are added. A video under 30 seconds costs 20,000 credits, and a video over 30 seconds costs 30,000.

Paid credits are sold in packs of 30,000, 120,000, and 200,000. They are consumable, not a subscription: they do not renew on their own. In the app, Apple or Google charges you, and the price is whatever that store shows in your country at the time. On the website, Stripe charges for those same packs. We do not see or store your card number.

Credits are not money, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be transferred to another person. If a video fails to generate, we return that video’s credits to the account. Refunds of a purchase made on the App Store, on Google Play, or with Stripe follow the rules of whoever charges. Once delivered, we do not return credits already spent on a video that was generated, except where the law of your country requires otherwise.

We may reject a receipt that is invalid, already used, or revoked by Apple or Google.

Your idea and the video

You are responsible for the idea you write. Do not send anything you do not have the right to use, or other people’s data that should not appear in a video.

For a generated video, we give you a license to watch it, save it, share it, and publish it yourself, including for commercial purposes, for as long as you follow these terms. The license is not exclusive. We may use the same system, the same sample drawings, and the same tools for other people. We do not assign you the program, the models, the voices, or the design of the app.

A similar video may exist for someone else if the idea is similar. We do not promise a unique result.

Use we do not accept

Do not use Clipora to:

  • do anything illegal, or to mislead someone into thinking a video is an official record or the testimony of a real person;
  • create sexual content involving minors, or any content that exploits a minor;
  • harass, threaten, or publish another person’s private information;
  • impersonate a real person in a way that could mislead;
  • attack the service, open accounts in bulk, or get around paying for credits.

If a use breaks these terms or the law, we may refuse to generate the video, delete that video, or close the account. If we close the account for a serious breach, remaining credits may be forfeited, except where the law says otherwise.

The service

Clipora is provided as is. A video may take time, fail, or not look the way you expected. We may change features, credit costs, languages, or the look of the app. We may pause the service for maintenance or because we stop offering it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or what you do with a video after it is generated. If we are liable anyway, the limit is the amount you paid us for credits in the three months before the event, or fifty United States dollars if that figure is higher and the law does not impose a different floor. Nothing here limits liability the law does not allow us to limit, or a consumer’s mandatory rights in their country.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States, without its conflict-of-laws rules. Unless a consumer law in your country gives you a venue you cannot waive, the state or federal courts located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, have jurisdiction.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will post the new version on this page and change the date. Continuing to use the app after that change means you accept the new terms. If a change is material and the law requires a different notice, we will give it in the app or by the required means.
