What data Clipora uses, and why.

Effective October 24, 2026. If this version and the Spanish version differ, this English version controls.

Who is responsible

DESKTOP PERFORMANCE LLC, EIN 39-3443512, 1209 Mountain Rd Pl NE, Ste R, Albuquerque, NM 87110, United States, decides how Clipora data is used.

The app does not ask for your name, email, or password. The account is a code created on the phone. For a request about an account, include that code. Without it, we may not be able to tell which account is yours.

Account and video data

  • An account identifier. On the phone, the code is kept in the system’s secure storage. On the server we store only a cryptographic hash of that code, not the code itself.
  • The text of the idea, and the language, voice, and length you ask for.
  • The script, the scenes, the generated voice, the video, the cover image, and the status of the job.
  • The credit balance and the date the account was created.

We use these to create the video, show it to you, keep the history on your account, and charge or return credits. The basis is the contract: providing the service you ask for.

Purchases

Credit packs are paid for on the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google charges you and sends us a signed receipt. We check that receipt and store the transaction id, the product, the credits added, and the date, so the same purchase is not credited twice. We do not receive your card number or the store’s payment details.

Notifications

If you turn notices on, we store that phone’s push identifier so we can tell you the video is ready. If you leave them off, we do not need that identifier. The operating system asks for the permission.

Photos

If you tap save, the app asks permission to write to your camera roll and copies the video there. We do not read your gallery and we do not upload your photos.

Share opens the system share sheet. We do not see whom you send it to.

Network and security

The server may use the IP address briefly to limit how many new accounts can be opened from the same network in a day. We do not build a profile from that IP. The host may keep ordinary technical connection logs for its usual period.

Who receives data

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for third-party advertising or to track you across other apps. Clipora has no ads.

To make the video, the text of your idea and the script are processed by these providers, only as far as needed:

  • Anthropic, to write the script from the idea.
  • ElevenLabs, to generate the narration.
  • Fly.io, which hosts the server where the account, the jobs, and the videos are stored, and also hosts this website.
  • Apple or Google, for downloading the app, charging you, and, when needed, verifying the purchase.
  • Expo, to deliver the push notification if you turned it on.

The drawings are rendered on our server. Those providers process data under their own terms and only to perform the service for us. Some of them are in the United States or other countries. If you write to us from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, that can be an international transfer. We make it because it is needed to generate the video you asked for.

How long

The account, the ideas, and the videos are kept while the account exists. A purchase identifier is kept so we do not credit it twice, and for as long as accounting duties require. The host’s technical logs follow that provider’s period.

You can ask us to delete the account. We will delete the account, the videos, and the notification identifier tied to that code. Write to the address at the end and include the code. A purchase identifier may remain for as long as accounting law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, object to a use, and withdraw a system permission in your phone’s settings. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your country’s data protection authority. If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as that state’s law uses those words, and you can ask us what data we hold for the account or ask us to delete it.

To use these rights, write to the address below with the account code. We will answer within the time the applicable law requires.

Children

Clipora is not directed to children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area where local law requires that age. We do not knowingly collect data from those children. If you tell us an account belongs to a child under that age, we will delete it.

This website

On this website, creating an account asks for an email and a password. The email, a hash of the password, and that account’s credit balance stay in this browser. Videos stay tied to that account: the file is on our servers and opens from this browser when you log in. The password is not sent to our servers. If you buy credits, the email is sent to Stripe to complete the payment, and when the payment is confirmed those credits are added to the account in this browser. Stripe processes the charge and we do not store your card number. We do not use cookies or analytics. The host can see the technical request from your browser, as with any website.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new text here and update the date.
